Hydra-Lift Hull Design
Smoker Craft Boats time-proven Hydra-Lift Performance Hull is a one-piece bottom that offers extreme inner strength, legendary handling, and a high and dry ride!
- Extreme Inner Strength: When you combine Smoker Craft's exclusive Advanced Integrated Rib System (AIRS) with fully integrated side panel lap strakes and a 5-keel construction we create the strongest hull on the water. - Legendary Handling: Very few fishing boats are compared to sports cars, but Smoker Craft Boats most definitely fits the description. Incorporating the reverse chine hull, 5-keel construction, and the exclusive performance hull tab system you can guarantee quick and easy holeshot. And most importantly with a bow-down attitude during the full acceleration. In addition, you can assure exceptional cornering agility and superior stability at both idling and cruising speeds.
- High And Dry Ride: In Michigan, some of the best times for fishing are when the climate is cooler. Being said, staying dry while running across the lake to “the spot” is extremely important. The reverse chine hull and fully integrated spray rails which are conveniently rolled into the side panels are designed to offer the driest ride possible.
Fresh Catch Livewells
One of the most essential features of any fishing boat is the livewell system. In tournament circumstances, the fish must make it to the weigh-in alive. And for recreational fishers, the fresher the fish, the better! Don’t worry, Smoker Craft Boats has you covered with the Fresh Catch and Fresh Catch Pro livewell systems.
On select models, the extra-large aft livewell comes standard with the Fresh Catch Pro livewell system. The pro version offers recirculating pumps and aerators to push more water and oxygen into the livewell, therefore keeping the fish alive and active. Both are set on timers, therefore set it and forget it. The recirculating feature also serves as a pump-out drainage system. Which means no more reaching into the slimy cold water to pull the drain plug. The main difference between the Fresh Catch Pro and Non-Pro livewell is the recirculating and pump-out feature.
Handy Rod Locker Storage
With any successful fishing trip, the amount of time the lure is in the water becomes paramount. Now, with that being said, having plenty of different technical fishing rods and lures on the boat is key. Much time can be wasted tying new lures onto in some cases, the wrong rod. On select models, the boat features top-loading gunnel storage, bow storage, and subfloor storage compartments for fishing rods. From our 14-foot fishing boats to our 18-foot fishing boats, safely store up to 22 fishing rods. Most importantly, all of the compartments are lockable for maximum security at any state park or campground.
Gunnel Tracking System
Long gone are the days where it was acceptable to drill holes into the side of the shiny brand new fishing boat. Smoker Craft’s exclusive Integrated Gunnel Tracking System (IGTS) allows for a simple installation and removal of rod holders, downriggers, and any other fishing gear. The tracking system allows for the fishing accessories to run freely along the gunnel for complete customization of positioning. We’ve teamed up with Bert’s Custom Tackle (we’ll touch base on Bert’s Custom Tackle later) to provide all our fishing gear. This is the perfect match because they design quality gear that is exclusive to the Smoker Craft Boats IGTS.
Yarblow Ventilation System
Innovation in the fishing boat industry is not a term that is tossed around frequently. But for Smoker Craft Boats, innovation is at the forefront of their product design. Meet the exclusive Yarblow Ventilation System. This new technology ensures that rod lockers and storage areas maintain a dry state with the push of a button. This is done by recirculating pressured air throughout the compartments. This feature puts an end to the growth of mold and mildew as well as protects expensive tackle from rust and corrosion. Upon entering our dedicated Smoker Craft showroom, you’ll quickly notice that not a single one of our fishing boats is equipped with electronics or accessories. We’ve found that everyone has a personal preference on the graph and trolling motor size, as well as the technological features. And for that reason, we’ve become a “Pick Your Tech” fishing boat dealer. Team Premier has partnered with Humminbird and Lowrance for our graphs, and Minn Kota and Motor Guide for our trolling motors. But don’t worry, our team will even install the electronics of the old fishing boat. Just another way we strive to make the boat buying process fun and simple.
