The 2020 Moomba Max comes in at 22’6” in length with the maximum legal beam width of 102”. This Essential Series wake boat is perfect for families heading to the water with medium to large crews on medium to large bodies of water - perfect for Michigan waterways.
The maximum passenger capacity is 17, although we have found to seat 10-12 passengers comfortably. On and off the water, the Moomba Max has a non-traditional edgy design that creates massive wakes and waves which guarantees to catch everyone's eye on the lake.
Shocking Water Sport Performance
Moomba Boats takes great pride in manufacturing wake boats with the highest all around performance. The Moomba Max has a super deep freeboard and hull design which allows for a super dry ride, tons of dry storage area, and plenty of ballast.
New for the 2020 model year, the Moomba Max has the option to take the 3,000lbs of standard ballast to 4,000lbs with the addition of two mid-ship bags and the G6 Ballast system. In addition to the deep hull and 4,000lbs of optional ballast, Moomba’s Flow 2.0 Surf System and patented Auto Wake allows the driver to produce massive wakes and waves at ease with the ability to tame them down with the same shape and power for beginner riders.
Industry Leading Ford Raptor 6.2L Engine
For the 2020 model year, the Raptor 6.2L 400 engine was engineered with a 1.76.1 transmission gear ratio. This new gear reduction allows for larger wake props, lower RPM’s, less engine noise, and a more efficient fuel economy. The Raptor 6.2L engine has major torque and has been engineered to perform exceptionally well at 2,500 to 3,500 RPM’s where today’s water sport applications need it most.
On the other end of the spectrum, the boat performs like a high-end sports car when wakeboarding or cruising across the lake with larger crews and ballast weight. Which means the Moomba Max offers industry-leading performance, but it also offers comfort beyond imaginable.

In addition to the Moomba Max’s appealing interior design, the interior provides a comfort for your family or crew that surpasses the competition. The Max’s hybrid bow design is deep and wide which allows for passengers of all sizes to sit comfortably in the bow of the wake boat.
Moomba did an exceptional job maximizing the length of the bow unlike many “pickle fork” designs where most of the bow is taken up by wasted fiberglass. A few new standard features for the 2020 Moomba Max’s interiors are the Bow Filler Cushion, Redesigned Captains Chair, and the Sundeck Walk Across With Non-Skid flooring.
Bow Filler Cushion
The bow filler cushion allows for a walk-thru bow or a large bed/lounging area design. Relaxing in the middle of the lake, use the Bow Filler Cushion to lounge and catch the rays.
Wakeboarding, Surfing, Skiing, or even cruising across the lake, take the Bow Filler Cushion out for the extra legroom and to ensure the kids' safety with all feet on the floor.
Redesigned Captain's Chair
Where all the magic happens, the captain's chair! Newly redesigned for the 2020 model year, the captain’s chair provides maximum comfort and visibility. The redesign allows the driver to comfortably turn towards the port side of the boat to talk with the crew or the rider. Also, flip up the bolster for complete visibility when surfing, wakeboarding, or skiing.
Sundeck Walk Across With Non-Skid
Moving to the rear of the Moomba Max, you have the standard Sundeck Walk Across With Non-Skid Flooring which provides a high-end look, but also protects your vinyl cushions when boarding and unboarding the boat.
The Sundeck Walk Across starts from the back of the sun pad and travels to the step into the boat and even has a step pad on the rear sliding bench seat.
